Robert Behar is a registered architect and urban planner with over thirty-eight years of experience in professional practice and is recognized as one of the leading architects in South Florida. His background plays a pivotal role in guiding Behar Font’s projects across various sectors including in architectural design, project management and development experience encompass all phases of commercial, educational, governmental, hospitality and residential developments from feasibility studies through construction completion. Renowned for his innovative and impactful work, Mr. Behar has received numerous recognitions for his professional design work as well as for his civic involvement in the community. His leadership ensures that each project upholds the highest standards of design and functionality.

Mr. Behar’s projects include: Okan Tower, a seventy–two (72) story tower mixed-use development with 398 Residential Condominium Units, a 328 Room Full-Service Hotel with extensive amenities, and 90,000 square feet of office space and meeting rooms. Its design derived from the silhouette of the Tulip which is the national flower of Turkey. Elle Residences, a twenty-five (25) story mixed-use development with 180 luxury units and a commercial component at ground level. Inspired by the trendsetting fashion and décor of Elle, The Residences is a blend modern architecture with the interiors reflecting mid-century modern and contemporary French chic. Quadro, a mixed-use development with 198 luxury units with a commercial component at ground level. Columbus Center, an eighteen (18) story mixed-use development with 200 residential units, with approximately 10,000 square feet of commercial component at ground level; Gables Ponce I & II, a mixed-use development with 367 luxury rental units combined with approximately 25,000 sq.ft of ground level retail, 25,000 sq. ft. of office space completely surrounded by pedestrian arcades and a decorative plaza.

Mr. Behar is registered to perform architectural services in several states, including Florida, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, District of Columbia, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, and Texas.

Educational Background

Mr. Behar graduated from the University of Miami in 1986 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree.
